When I took this picture, it was a few months into starting “Gina Heart,” but more importantly, it was a few months after I learned to embrace my name and do something positive for others in my life.

You may not have realized, but I didn’t it alone. My trusty team includes two amazing men: John Nguyen, a devoted friend, talented videographer, and creative director and Jeff Lee, my very own incredibly supportive boyfriend. Till this day, almost 3 months away from our 1 year mark, and two cities apart, we are still working as a team trying to make Gina Heart a powerful place for people to find the beauty, health, and passion within themselves.

I didn’t think I had it in me to pursue everything that Gina Heart is now, and I can’t thank John and Jeff enough for helping me find those things in myself.

Gina Heart would not exist without you two amazing partners so thank you from the very bottom of my heart.

Most importantly, it was the people and friends (YOU) who engaged with our work that really made Gina Heart a name of it’s own. Your positive support, comments, likes, and chatter about living a “Gina Heart Healthy Life” is what makes our thousands of hours worthwhile. Our Twitter and Instagram followers fall around the low hundreds, but Facebook recently reached over 400 likes. We are staying humble in our progress and so appreciate for all the support happening through social media and beyond.

So thank you for growing and learning with us, reading our posts and viewing our pictures. No matter what the numbers are, if we can inspire you to eat that banana instead of those chips and smile at a stranger rather than bumping into them on your way to work, then that’s all the reward we could ask for.

It has been an amazing journey so far and we plan to continue our work with Gina Heart for as long as people let us influence their lives.
